That is why I offer 100% customizable private tours of Slovenia from Ljubljana, Koper, Piran, Portoroz and Bled. Please, feel free to contact me if you are looking for shore excursions from Trieste and Koper either!
Slovenia is a small country, but of huge interest and our personalised day trips from Ljubljana will show you the main sights of it, along with some “hidden gems”, which I have discovered here during my researches. The most known sights, such as Bled Lake, Predjama Castle, Postojna Cave and Skocjan Cave, Piran will be accompanied by local boutique wineries, small picturesque villages, impressive mountain gorges, preserves and dozens of others exciting locations and experiences.
On our tours of Slovenia (and not only Slovenia) we will visit all the most important and famous locations, as well as being able to have a glance "behind the corners" to check some very little-known (but still outstanding) sights that are hidden from the eyes of tourist group crowds. The average price of Euro 250-350 for a full-day private tour per vehicle/group (not per person) or Euro 200-250 for a half-day tour includes comfortable and spacious 7-seater Ford Tourneo Custom minivan, tolls and parking fees. I would also be happy to redirect you to my colleagues if you are seeking for more affordable options.

About me
Originally born in a family of guides and local historians, being a travel guide in the third generation, I’ve been always much in history and geography. And Slovenia with it's lakes, caves, castles and wines is actually one of the perfect locations to tour and rigorously explore.
Having over than 20 years of my own tourist industry experience, lots of reviews and even four Tripadvisor «Travellers Choice » and «Certificate of Excellence » awards, having accreditations and licenses as a guide of a few state museums of Eastern Europe I'm an authorised guide in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
My homeland is Crimean peninsula and I only came to Slovenia for the first time a few years ago as a guest. Probably that was love from the first sight as Slovenia actually reminds (a lot) my native area.
So after months of researches in libraries, continuous trips over Slovenia and neighbouring countries, studying of culture, history, winemaking and geography…I’m pleased to propose you classic and custom private tours in this, incredibly rich for natural and human made attractions, country.
What do I offer:
Ljublana is a very unusual capital city. With the population of less than 400 000 it has been granted with a status of "Green capital of Europe" in 2016 and definately for reason. Parks are spread through all the city, carsharing is represented with electric drive vehicles and fresh drinkable water flows from many fountains of Ljubljana.
Speaking about Ljubljana we must mention it's architecture. The city has perfectly preserved buildings of three eras: Baroque of XVI-XVII centuries, Art-Nouveaux of early XX century and, sometimes, socialistic Jugoslavian architecture of middle and second part of XX century.
In 1,5-2 hours we will visit Preseren's square and see the oldest department store in Ljubljana; walk the iconic bridges of the city: Tromostovje (Three Bridges), Dragon bridge and Cobbler's bridge; have a look at the house in which Napoleon Bonaparte and Russian emperor Alexander I stayed; see the Town's Hall, bult in XV century and much more...
The average price for a group of 2-4 pax is euro 80.
Slovenia is a very convenient country, speaking about the travels. Most part of the sights are located within an hour (the most distant are an hour and a half) drive from Ljubljana.
These are: Postojna Cave and Predjamsky Castle, Bled Lake and Castle, Scocjan Cave, Triglav National Park, Celje Castle and city museum, Bohinj Lake and many many others.
Besides that an Italian city of Trieste with it’s marvelous Miramare Palace and Park is only an hour away.
The average price of a private full-day tour (8-9 hours) from Ljubljana is euro 220-300, depending on the itinerary. Completely customizable and tailored to your wishes and interests.
A full-day trip from Ljubljana gives you a possibility to cross 2-3 borders within a few hours.
Usually I don’t recommend such trips, as we spend to much time driving and to little actually visiting the attractions but these are still possible upon request.
