About me

Originally born in a family of guides and local historians, being a travel guide in the third generation, I’ve been always much in history and geography. And Slovenia with it's lakes, caves, castles and wines is actually one of the perfect locations to tour and rigorously explore.

Having over than 20 years of my own tourist industry experience, lots of reviews and even four Tripadvisor «Travellers Choice » and «Certificate of Excellence » awards, having accreditations and licenses as a guide of a few state museums of Eastern Europe I'm an authorised guide in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

My homeland is Crimean peninsula and I only came to Slovenia for the first time a few years ago as a guest. Probably that was love from the first sight as Slovenia actually reminds (a lot) my native area.

So after months of researches in libraries, continuous trips over Slovenia and neighbouring countries, studying of culture, history, winemaking and geography…I’m pleased to propose you classic and custom private tours in this, incredibly rich for natural and human made attractions, country.

Benefits of a Private Tour

Tailored Itineraries to Suit Your Interests

One of the major benefits of booking a private day trip with a guide and driver is the flexibility to tailor the itinerary to your interests. Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or a foodie, your guide can craft a personalized itinerary that caters to your preferences. You can choose the sights you want to see and the experiences you want to have, ensuring that your tour is truly unique.

Comfort and Convenience

Another advantage of a private tour is the comfort and convenience it offers. You can avoid the hassle of navigating unfamiliar roads, finding parking, and dealing with public transportation. With a private guide and driver, you can sit back and relax as you travel in comfort and style. Your guide will take care of all the logistics, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable day trip.

Top Private Day Trips in Slovenia

Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge

Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge are two of the most popular attractions in Slovenia, and for good reason. Lake Bled is a picture-perfect alpine lake surrounded by dramatic peaks and forests, while Vintgar Gorge offers a stunning walk through the narrow canyon with crystal-clear waterfalls and pools. Your private guide can take you to the best viewpoints and hidden gems that few tourists get to see.

Škocjan Caves and Lipica Stud Farm

For nature lovers, the Škocjan Caves and Lipica Stud Farm are a must-visit destination. Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features an underground river canyon and a mesmerizing waterfall. Lipica Stud Farm, on the other hand, is the birthplace of the Lipizzaner horses, and a place where you can learn about horse breeding and training.

Piran and the Istrian Coast

For those looking for a seaside escape, Piran and the Istrian Coast offer a charming atmosphere, delicious seafood, and historical landmarks. Piran is a well-preserved medieval town situated on the Adriatic Sea, while the Istrian Coast boasts gorgeous beaches and picturesque villages. With a private guide, you can explore these hidden gems and uncover the stories behind their landmarks.
